Euro 2024: Germany to Host 17th Edition

Tournament Details and Participating Teams

The 17th edition of the UEFA European Championship (Euro 2024) will take place in Germany from June 14 to July 14, 2024. As the host nation, Germany will be automatically placed in Group A and occupy the A1 position. The tournament will feature 23 teams, including Germany, which did not participate in the qualifying rounds.

Venues and Matches

Matches will be played at ten state-of-the-art stadiums across Germany, including the iconic Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund, also known as the Westfalenstadion. The stadium is renowned for its massive capacity and electric atmosphere during matches.

Group Stage

The group stage will feature 12 groups, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the knockout rounds. The four best third-placed teams will also qualify for the next stage.

Knockout Rounds

The knockout rounds will begin with the Round of 16, followed by the quarterfinals, semifinals, and the championship final. The final will be held at the newly renovated Olympiastadion in Berlin.
